Whimsical Fall Wedding in Manitou Springs, Colorado

Jake and Leah’s whimsical fall wedding at Craftwood Peak by Wedgewood Weddings was such a fun and joy-filled day! We knew after doing their engagement shoot earlier in the year that Jake and Leah’s wedding day would be full of love and laughter, and we weren’t mistaken.

Jake and Leah’s wedding day was unseasonably warm for October in Colorado, but the bright blue sky was the perfect contrast to their whimsy color scheme. Jake and Leah’s venue, Craftwood Peak, was a cozy, European-styled cottage that fit their whimsical and fairytale theme perfectly. The day started with Leah and her girls arriving to the venue to do finishing touches and get Leah ready for her first look with Jake. It was sweet to witness Leah’s mom helping Leah put on her wedding dress and seeing her bridesmaids’ reactions to the dress.

After Leah was ready, it was time for her first look with Jake. The two shared their private vows as well as gave each other their gifts. It was a tender moment seeing the love that Jake and Leah had for each other. After they had their first look, we took wedding party portraits, and then it was time for the ceremony!

After “I do,” we took family pictures, did couple portraits around the venue, and then the rest of the night was for partying and celebrating Leah and Jake’s marriage. It was a beautiful day, and we were thankful to be a part of it.
