Summer Wedding in the Rolling Hills of Vermont

When Douglas and Gabriella asked us to document their summer wedding in Orange, Vermont, we were beyond excited. Neither of us had been to Vermont before — we had been dreaming of the opportunity to document a wedding there. Douglas and Gabriella’s wedding was full of so many sweet and tender moments, and we are grateful we documented their love in such a beautiful setting.

Douglas and Gabriella celebrated their wedding at The Barn at Lonestar Acres in Orange, Vermont. This beautifully restored red barn combines historic Vermont roots with Texas country charm. With the rolling hills, vibrant trees, and wide open skies, this was the perfect backdrop for Douglas and Gabriella’s summing wedding.

The morning started with the girls getting ready in the bridal prep suite. Surrounded by her closest family and friends, Gabriella got ready to see her soon-to-be husband. The color scheme of the day matched the town’s name perfectly — the girls were all wearing variations of orange and pink-colored dresses, and Gabriella carried a bright and colorful bouquet of flowers. It was all a beautiful contrast against the green pastures.

Douglas and Gabriella decided they wanted their first time seeing each other to be at the ceremony; it was an emotional moment watching Douglas see his bride for the first time.

The rest of the day was a party celebrating Douglas and Gabriella’s love and marriage. It was such a joy to capture their love in such a beautiful location!
