Spring Engagement Shoot at Garden of the Gods, Colorado
Jorge and Glady’s engagement session at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado, was straight out of a movie. Their session was the perfect blend of documentary and editorial photography, and their photos truly were cinematic and emotional. Taking Jorge and Glady’s engagement photos was so much FUN — these two have such a sweet love, and it shows in all their photos. Garden of the Gods is a popular location for engagement photos, and we will never get tired of shooting here.
We started Jorge and Glady’s engagement shoot at the overflow parking lot in front of Garden of the Gods, which provided a beautiful backdrop of the park. It snowed a few days before their engagement shoot, so there was a clear view of a snow-capped Pikes Peak in the background. It was beautiful, to say the least.
We then drove into the park to High Point Overlook, one of the most popular and scenic spots at Garden of the Gods (for good reason!). The views at High Point overlook are unparalleled to anything else — with the surrounding mountain ranges, a crystal-clear view of Pikes Peak to the west, and Garden of the Gods in the background, you get the best of everything.
High Point Overlook is where we spent the majority of our time for Jorge and Glady’s beautiful mountain engagement shoot. The two walked around on the rocks, danced together, and even took some Polaroids of each other.
At this point, the sun started to peak through the clouds, casting a warm glow over the mountains.
To wrap up this romantic engagement session, we went to a field near the Garden of the Gods Trading Post. Jorge and Glady’s engagement session was a joy to capture, and we are beyond ecstatic to capture their wedding in a few weeks!
