Romantic Winter Wedding in Denver, Colorado

Isaiah and Dana’s wedding was our first one of 2026, and it was a great way to kick off our wedding season. It was a warm, sunny day in Denver — you wouldn’t even know that it was February!

Isaiah and Dana met at Texas Tech University, where they were both members of the hip hop team. They started dating and were together for seven years when Isaiah asked Dana to marry him.

When it came to planning their Denver wedding, Isaiah and Dana knew they wanted the day to be a big celebration with their family and friends. They chose SKYLIGHT, an indoor urban wedding venue in the Santa Fe arts district, as their venue and decorated it with bright red roses and greenery. It was very romantic — perfect for their Valentine’s Day wedding!

The day was full of so much joy and love. The surrounding city made for the perfect backdrop for their couple pictures; the sun was setting as we took their couple portraits, casting a beautiful glow over the buildings.

One of the most memorable parts of the day was Isaiah and Dana’s first dance. They surprised their guests by doing a choreographed hip hop dance — it was so FUN! We love that they incorporated a huge part of their story into the day; it truly made their wedding unique and memorable. We are so grateful we were a part of their beautiful wedding day!
