Romantic Engagement Shoot at Mount Falcon West

We met Madalyn and Nathan for the second part of their engagement shoot (see their cutesy ice cream shop shoot here) at Mount Falcon West in Morrison, Colorado. When planning for this part of the shoot, I knew Madalyn wanted an epic mountain backdrop, along with a meadow that had those same views. Upon research, I stumbled across Mount Falcon West and knew instantly that this would be the perfect spot for their engagement shoot. Located in Morrison, Colorado, Mount Falcon West is a scenic park that has hiking trails, picnic tables, and — of course — beautiful mountain views. This was the first time we had shot at Mount Falcon West, and it certainly won’t be our last.

We started off the shoot by doing an easy hike to a few different scenic locations. The sun had just begun to set, casting a beautiful warm glow over the mountains. It was a windy evening, but personally, we think the wind made Madalyn and Nathan’s photos that much more epic and cinematic. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening for this engagement shoot at Mount Falcon West.

We ended the evening running and dancing around this beautiful meadow overlooking the mountains. It was a dreamy evening, and every photo looks like it was taken straight out of a movie. The love Madalyn and Nathan have for each other is special, and we are honored they asked us to document it.
