Beautiful Spring Micro Wedding in Colorado Springs, CO

Glady and Jorge’s micro wedding at The Stonehaven Event Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, was beyond beautiful and intimate. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends as they said “I do” with the stunning foothills of Pikes Peak looming in the background. It was the perfect spring day, and we are grateful we were a part of it.

The wedding day started with Glady writing a letter to her soon-to-be husband in the getting ready room. Afterwards, her mom, soon-to-be mother-in-law, and her three close friends did the finishing touches of her makeup and helped her put her dress and veil on; it was so sweet to witness the unique relationships she had with each woman in the room.

The ceremony itself was beautiful, and we quickly realized that we have a new love for micro weddings; all your favorite people in one place? So intimate and homey. We truly loved documenting this wedding. It was even more special because Glady and Jorge decided against a first look, so the first time Jorge saw his beautiful bride was walking down the aisle. Cue the tears.

Immediately following the ceremony, Glady and Jorge celebrated with their friends and family. The newly married couple, along with their adorable beagles, signed their marriage license (I mean, c’mon, so cute), had a champagne toast, and shared their first dance. It was so special to document their love with such a stunning backdrop.
