Sunrise Proposal at Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado, will forever be one of our favorite places to shoot at. The towering red rock formations with the surrounding views of Pikes Peak always makes for the perfect backdrop, and it was the perfect place for Brendan and Lindsay’s surprise sunrise proposal.

It was a chilly and windy morning, but the vibrant sunrise more than made up for the cold. Brendan and Lindsay arrived to High Point Overlook — one of our favorite locations — at around 7am, where Brendan led Lindsay down the path (as we hid in the trees) to a rock that had a perfect view of Pikes Peak. He then got down on one knee and popped the question, and Lindsay said yes!

Lindsay then went to get their furry friend, Chewbacca, from the car so they could celebrate and get a few pictures with him. Just wait until you see pictures of him — he is the cutest dog ever. We took a few photos around High Point Overlook, then we drove to the front of the park to get a few final shots. It was a peaceful and beautiful morning, and we are honored that Brendan asked us to document his sweet Garden of the Gods proposal.
